This TwinLab F 20/40 Twin-Screw Extruder is designed for laboratory-scale material extrusion. It features a hygienic design, integrated Metabridge software, and CAN-open BUS technology for scalable production simulations. The extruder has a robust drive system (10 kW), a maximum screw speed of 1200 rpm, and operates at temperatures up to 400°C with pressures up to 350 bar. Complementing the extruder is a Weinreich Water Temperature Control Unit for precise thermal management, a variety of screw elements and kneading blocks for material customization, a software package for screw configuration, a round die assembly, and cutting devices for expanded extrudates. Additional tools include a volumetric feeder, a hydraulic lift table, and a ViscoQuick Viscometer for measuring gelatinization properties of starches and flours.
